Savor the Season comes to a close today and I want to thank each of you for being a part of this and every season with me. The love and support within this tribe of women is the greatest I have ever known. We are fierce and strong, and even at our lowest, we find kindness and compassion to show to one another. I am in awe of each of you.
As we enter the last days of this holiday season and 2016, I would like to offer one final wish to each of you, and that is peace. One of my favorite traditions of the Episcopal church, is the passing of the peace. The shaking of hands, the hugs, and simple utterance of the word “Peace” is the part of each service that I love the most. I wish I could grasp each of you by the hand and pass the peace to you, but I hope you will accept my virtual prayer for peace today and in the days ahead. Continue to show yourself kindness, and take the space you need.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
