October is coming to a close and I feel so close to you. The month was gentler on my heart than I thought it would be. It was our first Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness month where we honored you. We told your story many, many times. We shared a picture of you with the world for the first time and smiled with pride as everyone told us how beautiful you were. We received our 31st clothing donation and expanded the closet because we are bursting at the seams! We helped our 14th Mom this month with a box of donated clothes. We helped 6 moms in October alone.
We made it through your first birthday. Your sweet Daddy took the day off and he, Reeves and I were able to spend the day together. We took the day as it came, hugged and snuggled each other a lot. We launched some lanterns once the evening fell and thought about you. Your brother talked a lot about the lanterns going “kaboom” cause you know…..boys…..
I want you to know that in one year you have made such a difference to me, to our family and to so many others that you and I will never know. Your light shines so bright and if I have anything to say about it, it will continue to burn brighter than all the stars in the sky everyday, always.
Love and miss you my sweet baby girl,
